As a patient advocate, I’ve seen the importance of including patients in the change process. Educating patients about how AI will improve their care can create a pull factor for adoption.

We’ve had success with a ‘champions’ program, where we train enthusiastic clinicians to be AI ambassadors. They help their peers understand and adopt new AI tools, which has been more effective than top-down mandates.

We’ve found that phased rollouts with plenty of feedback loops work well. It allows us to address issues early and build confidence in the AI systems gradually.
